The Lodge of St Germain No 566
Lodge Profile
We are a Freemasons’ Lodge meeting in Selby in North Yorkshire, in the Province of Yorkshire North and East Ridings, with a unique and proud history. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, and include younger, middle aged and older men who enjoy a range of social and service activities, both in the Lodge and the wider community.
Meetings are held 10 times per year on the second Friday of each month, October to June, and the third Friday in September, at 7.00 pm, with the exception of the Installation meeting (May) which starts at 5.00 pm. We do not meet in July and August.
After our meetings we dine on the premises at our festive board, which is prepared and cooked by our professional caterers in the Lodge. Our social calendar includes a range of formal and informal events, incuding a Children's Christmas Party, a Steward's Party, and a formal evening for members, their partners and guests at a local venue.
We also have a Lodge of Instruction, which normally meets on the second Tuesday after a regular Lodge meeting, lasting about one hour.
Several masonic 'Companion Orders' also meet at our premises on Church Hill in Selby - please see the Salebeia Chapter and Other Orders pages for more details.
If you are a Freemason and wish to visit, please email the Lodge Secretary secretary@stgermain566.org stating your name, Lodge name and number, and a daytime contact telephone number.
